Originally from Vermont, I graduated from the Wellness Massage Center and Institute in 2019 and moved to Wilmington in 2020 for family and warmer climates. Transitioning from a cook to a massage therapist after personal health improvements, I specialize in neck and shoulder relief through traction, deep tissue, and stretching. I'm trained in myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and certified in prenatal care, reiki, hot stones, and cupping. I combine Swedish and deep tissue techniques, customizing sessions to your needs for a balanced, relaxing experience.

With over 5 years in the massage field I am dedicated to providing client-centered care. I specialize in a true therapeutic touch with a blend of modalities, from deep tissue, sports, relaxation Swedish, prenatal and more! I am eager to continue growing as a massage therapist! Outside of work, I  spend most of my time watching football (roll tide!), discovering new restaurants, exploring nature trails and experiencing all the beauty that Wilmington has to offer. Megan Lewis, LMBT has been licensed in massage in North Carolina since October 18, 2018. She went to an Esalen style school in Nashua, New Hampshire, which focuses on somatics and treating the person as a whole. She achieved her Associate’s in Holistic Health and Wellness in 2017 and took her state board in 2018 after moving back to NC.

She gives a wonderful relaxing Swedish massage but is also capable of more therapeutic massage. Some modalities within her scope of practice include; Deep Tissue, Prenatal Massage, Reflexology, and Lomi Lomi, as well as Thai Table Massage.

I'm originally from Pennsylvania and have had the pleasure of exploring many states, but North Carolina stands out as one of the most beautiful. With massage therapist parents, I was fortunate to inherit their healing touch. I studied exercise science and have worked as a therapeutic bodyworker for 9 years. My approach combines deep, specific work with myofascial release, sinus/headache relief, and cupping therapy. I believe in the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit, and strive to create sessions that foster relaxation and balance on all levels.

I have always had a passion for health, wellness, and fitness; this passion led me to become a certified and licensed massage therapist.  I became a personal trainer in 2000 and got certified in Older Adult Fitness the following year.  Developing safe and effective fitness programs that focus on building strength, creating space and increasing flexibility naturally leads to a desire for more knowledge and other ways to impact the lives of others.

I discovered the Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC, and graduated in 2004. In 2005 I began practicing massage in the personal training studio. I found that the synergy of training, stretching, and massage had an even more powerful positive impact than the training alone.  The clients not only now looked better and felt better.  They were now more aware and in tune with their bodies.
